As the month of November comes to a close Antonio Conte will want to make sure that Chelsea retain their top of the table spot going into December. This means that a win in the upcoming game against Tottenham Hotspur is crucial if they want to stay on top. With no injuries for Antonio Conte’s side going into this week’s game, things are looking up for him and his men.
The morale of the Tottenham men will have also been dampened after their 2-1 defeat to Monaco in the Champions League earlier this week. Spurs will also be without one of their top defenders in Toby Alderweireld. These are two things that Chelsea can use to their advantage.
(Editor’s Note: the following Chelsea FC starting XI prediction is by Caleb Thompson)
It looks like Conte will stick to the normal lineup meaning that the likes of Willian,Oscar and Fabregas will once again start on the bench. Also Antonio Conte has confirmed that Kurt Zouma is also available for selection but will not rush him into a starting spot as of yet. This means that the likes of David Luiz, Gary Cahill and Cesar Azpilicueta who have not let in a single goal since the reshaping of the formation are going to keep their spots on the field.
If all goes well over the next few games, it could approach the stage of record breaking defending.
