Tottenham Hotspur Starting XI Prediction vs Brentford

Antonio Conte must be wondering what he has got himself into- a Spurs season that promised so much has lurched from one crisis to another. It seems the rot has set in, and it has set deep.

At least with the Italian at the helm they have one of the finest football brains in the game to help them find their way back to their best. There were always going to be teething problems as Conte ingrains his new players into his new way of doing things. However, nobody saw the capitulation in Slovenia coming.

Tottenham Team News vs Brentford: Romero, Lo Celso, Scarlett

In what has been nothing short of a dumpster fire of a season so far, Spurs had a reprieve last Premier League matchday when their fixture with Burnley was postponed due to inclement weather. Due to that cancellation, their last competitive fixture remains that embarrassing defeat against the lowest-ranked side in European club competition, NS Mura.

I’m sure the bitter taste of that defeat is one the first-team squad is itching to wash out of their mouths. They couldn’t have asked for better opposition to bounce back against. This matchday they face Brentford in a unique London derby.

Tottenham Hotspur Starting XI Prediction vs Burnley FC

I’m going to start by apologizing to Spurs fans. I jinxed your team by saying it would take something incredibly ‘Spursy’ for them not to win against NS Mura in the UEFA Conference League and something ‘Spursy’  is exactly what happened as they lost 2-1 to the lowest-ranked side competing in UEFA competitions this year.

The feel-good factor that came after the appointment of Antonio Conte is almost certainly gone now. You’d have to say the pressure is on the Italian to produce a 90-minute display against the Clarets at Turf Moor this weekend.

Tottenham Team News vs Burnley: Romero, Lo Celso, Scarlett

Tottenham return to Premier League action after being humiliated by Slovenian side NS Mura in the UEFA Conference League. The loss to the lowest-ranked side in European competition this season and a side sitting in fifth place in the Slovenian top tier has new manager Antonio Conte questioning the quality of the squad at his disposal.

The loss has potentially added two extra fixtures to the Spurs schedule as they face the prospect of a playoff to reach the knockout phase of the third-tier European competition.

Tottenham Team News vs NS Mura: Romero, Lo Celso, Skipp

After successfully banking their first three league points of the Antonio Conte era, Tottenham Hotspur’s focus must now shift to the UEFA Conference League and their midweek match against Slovenian side NS Mura.

Spurs remain undefeated under their new manager’s tutelage and will expect to keep that run going here against a team they brushed aside 5-1 in matchday two of this UEFA Conference League.

Tottenham Starting XI Prediction vs NS Mura (Conference League)

Spurs will be hoping to pick up an easy three points as they travel to Slovenia to face Group G whipping boys NS Mura. It hasn’t been all plain sailing for the London side in the UEFA Conference League, but they can take a huge step toward qualifying for the next round with a victory here.

New manager Antonio Conte laid a marker down in his first game in charge of Spurs which came in this very competition. He named a strong starting XI against Vitesse in the last matchday. I don’t think he will go down the same route against the Slovenians. I expect a much-changed starting XI from the one that faced Leeds in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur Starting XI Prediction vs Leeds United

Two legendary managers will be in the dugouts for the late Sunday kick-off between Tottenham Hotspur and Leeds United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Antonio Conte and Marcelo Bielsa will match wits with each other for the first time in what will be a truly fascinating tactical battle.

Italian Antonio Conte has made no secret of his admiration for Marcelo Bielsa. He revers the Leeds United boss so much he attended a 2015 Masterclass that was run by the Argentine. Some of the biggest managers in the game famously admire Marcelo Bielsa with none other than Pep Guardiola once said he was “the best coach on the planet.”

Tottenham Team News vs Leeds: Oliver Skipp, Cristian Romero, Bryan Gil

Tottenham come into this match against Leeds United looking for Antonio Conte’s first Premier League victory as Spurs boss. Tottenham is the heavy favorite for this one as Leeds has suffered from somewhat of a sophomore slump in the early stages of this season.

Leeds manager Marcelo Bielsa will have his players firing for this one, however, and will pounce on any mistakes from the North London club.

Can Antonio Conte Finally Bring a Trophy to Tottenham?

Many have tried before, and since 2008, no one has succeeded. Is Antonio Conte the man to finally bring a trophy to Tottenham Hotspur and end their barren spell; one that has been much to the amusement of their Premier League rivals?

Harry Kane Says Euro Final, Not Transfer Saga, Still Bothers Him

What’s wrong with Tottenham talisman Harry Kane this season? Well, the usually stellar centre forward didn’t say specifically for sure, but he did reveal that England’s Euro 2020 final defeat to Italy still haunts him to this day.

While many, if not most, observers blame his fallen form on his failed attempt to leave Tottenham for Manchester City, Kane says otherwise. Kane met the media today ahead of England’s last two World Cup qualifiers against Albania and San Marino.

Tottenham Hotspur Starting XI Prediction vs Everton FC

Spurs fans have reason to be excited this weekend as Antonio Conte’s Premier League reign in the dugout begins at Goodison Park against Rafa Benitez’ Everton side. The sacking of Nuno Espirito Santo and subsequent hiring of the Italian has seen optimism abound at Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

They were given a taste of what to expect from Conte in the wild 3-2 victory over Vitesse in the UEFA Conference League and the first thirty minutes of that performance would have had even the most pessimistic Spurs fan salivating. Tottenham has had an impressive record against Everton in recent years and they will be hoping that will continue in this matchup.
