Tottenham Hotspur really pulled off a stunning result in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League quarterfinal versus Manchester City, as losses for the Sky Blues have been exceedingly rare in 2019. In order to do it again, and advance through to the semifinal round, they will once again need to overcome the odds and projections.

Spurs will be short-handed in this one, but the history of this match-up has been tremendously balanced. In the all-time series, City and Spurs have each won on 61 times, to go along with 35 draws.

Let’s take a look at who Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino may select in his first team, as he looks to gain the upper hand in the series.
