Liverpool returns from the international break and head right into the Merseyside Derby against Everton.
The Reds sit fourth in the BPL standings, but many the teams around them have games in hand.
Simon Mignolet struggled for Belgium over the break, but he still is the No. 1 for Liverpool. He has been strong for the Reds since reclaiming the top spot.
The good news for Liverpool’s defense is Dejan Lovren should be back.
The center back has been out for more than a month with a leg issue, but the two weeks off should have ready to go alongside Joel Matip. Lovren’s leadership will be needed against the likes Romelu Lukaku.
The Reds always seem to have some injury spring up over the international break and this time was no exception. Adam Lallana is out for the foreseeable future with a thigh injury.
Also out will be Jordan Henderson, who still isn’t recovered from a heel injury. Liverpool will most likely drop Coutinho further back, and allow Ben Woodburn to get the start higher up with Mane and Firmino.
Coutinho and Firmino had a long flight back from Brazil, but practiced on Thursday and should be fit to play.
