Liverpool FC Starting XI Prediction at Watford

There are many factors that have contributed to Liverpool’s history making rise and unprecedented run. It feels like every week, new records are falling and another milestone is achieved. Can they be stopped from matching Arsenal’s Invincibles and 19th century Preston with an undefeated season?

Maybe not, but the next side to give it a try is Watford, who are the top flight’s penultimate side. So hey, good luck with that on Saturday! The Reds will be without team skipper Jordan Henderson in this one, but manager Jurgen Klopp shouldn’t be too worried. They still have plenty of firepower to work with.

Liverpool FC Team News at Watford: Jordan Henderson, James Milner

As Atletico Madrid have shown us, Liverpool FC can actually be beaten…although the only two teams to do it in 2019-20 were from continental Europe, not England. The Aston Villa defeat in the League Cup comes with an asterisk, as the Merseyside club were forced to field their youth team for that clash, given intense fixture congestion at the time.

Can the Reds fall at Vicarage Road? Most likely not, but if you’re going to analyze this narrative, then consider this idea- perhaps the Reds will actually fall to a lower table side, one with nothing to lose and not feeling the pressure of expectations? Does Watford FC fit the bill? Maybe not as they, along with West Ham, are still in the race to get out of the relegation zone.

Sizing Up the Premier League Title and Top Four Races

Liverpool got one step closer to wrapping up the 2019-20 Premier League title on Monday night with a 3-2 win at home to West Ham United. Jurgen Klopp’s side have now taken a staggering 79 points from a possible 81 this season – opening up an incredible 22-point lead over last season’s champions Manchester City.

The Reds could have the title in the bag as early as Saturday 14 March, or even seal it at Goodison Park on Monday 16 March. Both would be records, for earliest date clinched and clinching with the highest number of games remaining.

West Ham United Starting XI Prediction, Team News at Liverpool FC

David Moyes was brought back to West Ham United with one main objective in mind- keep the Hammers up in the top flight. As of now they’re still in the drop zone, although they’re just one point behind Aston Villa for the final position of safety. Tonight they visit undefeated and league leading Liverpool, so the pressure will effectively be off for this match.

It’s the hardest match on the slate, and understandably the Irons are heavy underdogs in this one. The expectations are that Moyes can lead the south London club to points acquisition elsewhere.

Liverpool FC have a ton to play for tonight when they host lowly West Ham United. A victory here would see them equal Manchester City’s all-time record of winning 18 straight top-flight games. Unbeaten in their last 43 Premier League games, the Reds are highly favored to take all three points from this one.

Get a result here, as they are strongly expected to do against the league’s 18th place side, and that means the Merseyside club are just 10 matches away from an undefeated season. With the league title already long locked up, it’s the main goal Jurgen Klopp’s side has to play for in the domestic top flight.

Examining Liverpool’s Remarkable Unbeaten Run

So, Liverpool can actually be beaten in 2020. We all knew this had to happen some day this calendar year. Once again, it is a foreign team, Atletico Madrid, who joined Napoli in pulling off what no English team has managed to do so far this season: beat the Reds.

The last time Liverpool lost a match domestically, it was Aston Villa who beat then 5-0 in the Carabao Cup on the 17th of December. There was a valid reason for that result, however, and it was because Jürgen Klopp fielded a significantly weakened team.

Liverpool: What’s Behind The Rise of The Reds

liverpool fc anfield

Liverpool has undoubtedly become one of the strongest, if not the strongest, team on the planet right now. They have been absolutely unstoppable, and by all accounts, barring a truly once in a century collapse, you can bet that they will be lifting the Premier League trophy in a matter of weeks.

Jurgen Klopp and his team have done far more than just “get lucky”. They have been dominant, consistent, and almost freakishly good at what they do, and the 30 year year wait for a Premier League is all but over.

Liverpool FC Team News, Starting XI Prediction vs Atletico Madrid

It’s time for Jurgen Klopp and company to restart the defense of their European title. Let’s cover all the bases and preview this match, which will mark just the fifth meeting between the two sides in European history.

Klopp earlier confirmed that he has no new fitness concerns for this match, as every player who featured in the weekend winner over Norwich City will be available again. “Good, exactly the same. All on board and available, cool,” the German told Liverpoolfc.com, and that means Xherdan Shaqiri (calf) and Nathaniel Clyne (knee) are the only absentees.

Liverpool FC Starting XI Prediction at Norwich City

Liverpool have a great chance at becoming just the third team in history to ever accomplish an undefeated season at the English top flight. It certainly won’t be easy, as they are a club with a very big workload ahead. Still playing to win three more trophies this season (the league obviously, the Uefa Champions League title defense and the FA Cup) Saturday begins a very busy stretch.

A trip to Norwich City looks easy on paper, but it commences a nine game in 35 day stretch, which extends all the way until mid March.

Liverpool FC at Norwich City Team News: Mane, Milner, Godfrey

sadio-mane

Scoring sensation Sadio Mané has been out of action since January 23 due to a hamstring injury, but he returned to training this week. As did James Milner, who also suffered a hamstring injury. Both should be in line to potentially feature against Norwich City, the Premier League’s absolute bottom side.

It’s poised to be as lopsided as a match as possible, with the league’s champions-elect visiting a side that will almost certainly be relegated.Of course, one must remember that Norwich did beat Manchester City back in September, so anything can happen! However, it probably will not, as anyone who remembers the reverse fixture on opening night will likely tell you.
