Liverpool FC Rule Trent Alexander-Arnold Out of Euro 2021

Liverpool FC made a club announcement today, and it is not good news for Three Lions and their boss Gareth Southgate. Fullback Trent Alexander-Arnold is out for the summer, having suffered a thigh injury last night in England’s Euro 2021 tune-up with Austria.

The England right-back limped off in stoppage time of the second half Wednesday night, and his Euro 2021 campaign is now over before it even started.

Liverpool FC Sign Ibrahima Konate, Trigger €41.5m Release Clause

The Premier League season ended this past Sunday, and the summer transfer window got started on Friday. Liverpool FC got the party started by announcing the first major signing, RB Leipzig central defender Ibrahima Konate, having triggered his €41.5 million release clause.

The Reds saw this past season derailed by injuries, most extensively so in central defense. When the center back position got ravaged by injury, manager Jurgen Klopp moved some midfielders over, and before you knew, the midfield was decimated by injuries as well. So beefing up at the position was definitely Anfield’s number one priority this summer.

The final match of the Premier League season is here, and it is a massive one for Liverpool. The Reds come into the final matchday fourth in the table, with a win likely guaranteeing them a spot in the Champions League.

New Liverpool FC Home Kit Unveiled, Possible New Away Kit Leaked


Every year, the run-in to Championship Sunday brings high stakes, thrilling battles for titles and positioning. It also brings Next Year’s Kit Release Season, and Thursday brought the latest strip from Liverpool FC.

The Anfield outfit recently switched from New Balance to Nike, and in these designs, you can see the new direction that the Merseyside club is going with their outerwear. While the home kit was officially unveiled, the away kit has not been, but internet sleuths (or supposed internet sleuths) believe they have found the 2021/22 road match shirt.

Liverpool FC Starting XI Prediction at Burnley


Liverpool kept their hopes alive for the top four with a dramatic extra time winner off the head of Alisson on Sunday. There is still work to do however, and the Reds travel to Burnley for a tricky test.

Liverpool Team News at Burnley: Milner, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Keita, Kabak

It doesn’t get much more dramatic than Liverpool’s Sunday fixture at West Brom. With their Champions League hopes dwindling, goalkeeper Alisson rescued the squad at the death, heading in a corner deep into added time. The Brazilian made history, becoming the first goalkeeper to score via a header in Premier League history.

While it was a big win for the Reds, the work is not done, and there are still two big matches remaining. The first of those comes in midweek, with the Reds final away match of the season at Burnley.

Jurgen Klopp Slams Premier League’s Rescheduling of United Fixtures

Ahead of their next meeting tomorrow night, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp really feels for his arch-rivals, Manchester United. Liverpool at United, take two, will be staged on Thursday night, after the original Sunday matinee fixture got canceled due to supportings breaking into the stadium and damaging the pitch.

Ideally, the league should have just played this match the next night, but instead they dealt United a bad set of cards. This match will be United’s third Premier League fixture in five days, and Klopp labels this development “a crime.”
