One of the most marquee match-ups of the Premier League season kicks off on Sunday when Liverpool travels to Manchester City. The teams have combined to win the last three titles, and produce record-breaking point totals.

Pep Guardiola Demanding More as Liverpool Clash Looms

Manchester City continued their dominance in the Champions League competition after beating Olympiakos on Tuesday night. Yet speaking to BT Sport after the game, manager Pep Guardiola demanded his players be more clinical in front of goal.

City got their third successive win in Europe as they emerged 3-0 winners over the Greek side. The Etihad stadium saw goals from Ferran Torres, Gabriel Jesus and Joao Cancelo as the home team strengthened their stronghold over their group.

Predicted Liverpool FC Starting XI at Atalanta (Champions League)

Liverpool kick off a big week on the road Tuesday night in Champions League action. They will travel to Italy, where they face Atalanta in a match-up of the top two teams in Group D.

Liverpool grinded out a 2-1 win against West Ham on Saturday, getting a late goal from Diogo Jota to secure the three points. The Reds haven’t been at their best lately, but are finding ways to grind out results.

The attention turns now to the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, when Liverpool travels to Italy to take on Atalanta. The two teams sit atop Group D through two games.

Predicted Liverpool FC Starting XI against West Ham United

Liverpool FC search for its fourth win in a row, across all competitions, on Saturday when they host West Ham United. The Reds have been grinding out wins, and while not at their absolutely best, sit second in the table on goal difference. West Ham sit 12th in the table after back-to-back draws.

With the injury limitations they have, Liverpool could end up running out a similar line-up to its last PL win against Sheffield United.

Liverpool return home for the first of three-straight games at Anfield on Saturday evening when they host Sheffield United. Since the international break, the Reds have played well, out-performing Everton in the derby, but very unlucky to not earn all three points.

Then, in their Champions League opener, they went into Amsterdam and got a clean sheet at Ajax with a makeshift center-back pairing and midfield. Liverpool FC Starting XI Prediction at Ajax (Champions League)

After a frustrating draw in the Merseyside Derby, Liverpool start Champions League play on Wednesday evening against Ajax. The two European giants are meeting for the first time since 1966.

Liverpool travel to Amsterdam on Wednesday night to face Ajax in Champions League group stage play. The two storied clubs have combined to win 10 European Cups in their history, and won their respective league titles 53 combined times.

Virgil van Dijk Writes Message to Fans After Devastating Injury News

Many believed that Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford should have been sent off yesterday for his ultra-aggressive challenge (pictured above) on Liverpool central defender Virgil van Dijk. The move was certainly a bit Cobra Kai “sweep the leg” to say the least.

Now VVD is out with an injured anterior cruciate ligament injury prognosis, and it’s possible he may not play again this season. This news is obviously very bad for Liverpool and their fans, as the Dutchman is out for several months at a minimum.
