Usually in this space we show you the Louis van Gaal post game interview or the Man of the Match post game interview. Also, we usually post the video of the goals scored by Manchester United at this time. Of course, we can’t do that a whole lot this season.
There have been just nine goals scored in the last eight matches. (Meanwhile Chicharito scored yet again today; that’s now 17 goals in his last 16 games) I haven’t even brought up all the goalless draws this year.
Since United hasn’t won a game in their last six (first time in 17 years), there isn’t a whole lot of “man of the match” YouTubes to be embedded. Also, right now most people aren’t interested in hearing what Van Gaal has to say unless it’s “I’m resigning.” That will never happen. He’s too stubborn and he’ll only leave if he’s forced to.
There was a report earlier this week that the United board was growing concerned about the backlash Van Gaal has inspired. Good, they should be concerned.
Twitter exploded today over the 2-1 loss to Norwich City. This link has some of the better reactions.
Here are some additional, entertaining Tweets ripping Louis van Gaal a new one today. Enjoy:
Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.
