Slowly but surely Manchester United are seeing their players away on post World Cup holiday return to the team. Forward Marcus Rashford and central defender Victor Lindelof cut their vacations short to return to the team early, and possibly make a bid to see action in the season opener Friday Night versus Leicester City.
Another centre back, Phil Jones, also cut short his break so that he could come back to the team this preseason. The trio made the trip to Bavaria for the team’s final preseason exhibition match of 2018-19, versus Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena .

Additionally, striker Romelu Lukaku will cut his vacation short to rejoin the team early, but he is not in the side that traveled to Munich. Also, centre back Chris Smalling has been reactivated, after having missed the final two games of United’s preseason tour in the USA due to a knock.
