-The Reds moved up two slots this week, to #4 in the ESPN FC European power rankings.
-Mo Salah was ranked the most impactful Premier League summer transfer buy by NBC Sports.
-According to one study, improved his value in the transfer market 84% since he moved from AS Roma to Liverpool this past summer. His stock is rising faster, arguably, than any other individual player on the planet right now.
He’s drawing comparisons to Lionel Messi, and establishing himself as one of the front-runners in the PFA Player of the Year race.
-The Telegraph writes that Liverpool “will not sell Mohamed Salah under any circumstances this summer, with the club determined that the Egyptian remains central to their pursuit of honours.”
-Mo Salah is also looking like a shoe-in to win the Premier League golden boot award, and will likely battle Messi for the European Golden Shoe honor.
-Manager Jurgen Klopp gave the non-international duty players the week off, reports the Liverpool Echo, adding that Klopp “decided not to hold a warm weather training camp. Instead Klopp has taken his staff away to Tenerife to relax and prepare for the Reds’ make or break final stretch of the campaign.”
