Memphis Depay is reportedly furious that Manager Louis van Gaal dropped him for tomorrow night’s FA Cup Final versus Crystal Palace. The Daily Express is reporting that Depay is fuming, as multiple outlets reported today that the much maligned Manchester United winger did not even make the trip to London.

United boarded a train to the capital from Stockport at 1500 BST today, and Depay was left out, leading many outlets to determine that this was Van Gaal having a proverbial last laugh at the expense of the team’s biggest flop this season.

It’s a bit shocking as Van Gaal has named him in 58 of his match day squads this season. The Dutchman subbed on his countryman late in the 3-1 home win against Bournemouth Tuesday night. The leading scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie last season, Depay has been one of the biggest busts in the Premier League this season, and was thus named into the ESPN FC “worst XI” of the year.

Don’t feel too bad for him though, as his life off the pitch seems to be pretty fun and exciting. At least according to his Instagram feed this past year; he seems to be having a good old time.

He has a very attractive love interest in his life who also happens to be Steve Harvey’s niece. Maybe he can wear his gold teeth too when he goes out on the town with her.
