The situation at Old Trafford seems to be escalating quickly. It seems like just a week or so ago Manchester United supporters were evenly split on whether or not they wanted Louis van Gaal to stay in charge. Now it’s up to a whopping 89%, according to a Mirror poll of 4,000 Man United supporting respondents.

Van Gaal has come in for criticism over the style of play he has deployed during his time with United, as the Red Devils have struggled to score goals.
Chants of “Attack! Attack! Attack, attack, attack!” have been commonly heard at the Theatre of Dreams, and it seems the former Bayern Munich boss’ days could be numbered.
The United community griped about all the goalless draws (as they should), but was able to tolerate Van Gaal’s dull, tedious style this season when it still yielded results. Now that this dull, tedious style isn’t yielding results, there’s full blown backlash.
We have already heard plenty of talk about the idea of Jose Mourinho coming to Old Trafford as his potential replacement. Reportedly, there is mutual interest in that situation.
