Manchester United and Nicolas Otamendi have been linked all summer long, but the blue side of Manchester is the actual destination for the Valencia defender. Last week, it was reported that United lost interest in the center back, and today, Otamendi is a member of the Citizens!
Otamendi told the club website: “I am here to give my best, to fight game by game and push City to the highest peaks for as long as possible, and I wish we will be able to win several cups and titles.
“That’s the most important. To be here inside a club that looks so wonderful from the outside is a dream.”
City will now have five center backs, as the club completed a deal worth £31.5 million for five years.
