#MUFC is trending right now for all the wrong reasons. MUFC is actually the second most trending term in the world right now as we write this. That’s because Manchester United has dropped to a new low, with a 2-1 loss to Norwich City.
Manager Louis van Gaal has suffered his second straight loss to a newly promoted team (last weekend it was AFC Bournemouth). The case for sacking him just keeps getting stronger.
Currently, MUFC are….
…out of the Champions League
…out of the top four
…out of the league cup
…winless in their last six
…playing the type of football that has been described as “boring” and “dull” by fans and pundits worldwide.
There was a report earlier this week that the United board was growing concerned about the backlash Van Gaal has inspired. Good, they should be concerned.
If there isn’t a new boss installed by the time Boxing Day gets here, then we could see MUFC fans stage a mutiny (proverbially). Get ready for protests similar to what went on with David Moyes. Perhaps someone is planning a “LVG out” banner to be flown behind an airplane over Old Trafford at the next home match?
Here are a couple good MUFC Tweets summing up the mood right now.
Two defeats in a row against promoted teams. If that doesn't signal the end for LVG, nothing will. #MUFC #LVG

3 draws and 3 defeats in their last 6 games. Last time @ManUtd went 6 games without a win was 17 years ago. #MUFC pic.twitter.com/seWFjwGcPK
