Manchester United Starting XI Prediction vs Partizan Belgrade (UEL)

On Sunday, Manchester United accomplished something no one else has thus far this season- they took a point away from a Premier League fixture against Liverpool. Tomorrow night, when the Red Devils travel to Partizan Belgrade, they look to achieve something they haven’t so far in the 2019/20 season- a road victory.

Yes, across all competitions, United have not taken all three points from a match at a place not named Old Trafford since that magical Champions League knockout round clash at Paris Saint-Germain back in March. And a win Thursday night at Partizan Belgrade would do wonders for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men, who could certainly use a morale boost right now.

And from a more pragmatic sense, it would give MUFC control of Group L, as they would then get a road win at the only team above them in the group stage standings thus far.

Achieving that, they would be almost certain to then go through to the UEL knockout round.

Kickoff: 5:55 BST, Oct 24, Partizan Stadium

TV: BT Sport 2

Group L Standings: Partizan Belgrade first with 4 points, United second with 4 points

Prediction: Partizan Belgrade 1, United 1

Although United are facing a much smaller club, it’s hard to pick them to win this one as they have not won a match of any sort away from Old Trafford since March.
