Eric Bailly is the name buzzing today in the Manchester United Twitterverse, blogosphere, cyberspace and media world. The central defender was unveiled yesterday as Old Trafford’s first signing of the summer transfer period. He’s also the first addition of the Jose Mourinho era. Here’s a link to more on his deal and the club’s official statements.
And below you’ll find a link to video of his first interview as a member of United:

Bailly could be the new guy paired up with Chris Smalling in the central part of the back line, and if so, perhaps Daley Blind might be moving on from Old Trafford? We’ll see. For the reaction of Bailly himself, we turn to MUTV: “I’m really happy to be here at the biggest club in the world. It’s a dream come true for me.
“I’ve always dreamt of playing in English football. When Manchester United was mentioned, I didn’t have to think twice.
“As you know, it is a different style to Spanish football. It’s more physical and maybe more direct as well.
“It’s a style of football I’ve always liked. I’ve always thought it would suit my style of football as well.”
And thus we now take a look at how the MUFC Twitterverse has reacted to the Eric Bailly signing:

Really excited by this Eric Bailly signing. First one under José Mourinho and it's under the radar. Hopefully he can hit the ground running.
