Liverpool FC suffered their first non-win, across all competitions, of the 2018-19 campaign last night as Chelsea beat them 2-1 in the third round of the Carabao Cup. Eden Hazard was the hero off the bench as Jurgen Klopp was stunned by a couple of the VAR rulings. Now comes the back half of the double header between the two teams, and the Reds will look to hand the Blues their first loss of the season, in any competition.
Chelsea dropped their first points of the term only just last weekend, so this match, with tremendously high league title implications, is a battle between the two British top flight clubs who stayed perfect the longest in 2018-19.
