After missing the last game due to fitness concerns, John Terry will be raring to go for the upcoming game against Leicester City.
Terry has been out of the squad due to strained ligament injuries that he picked up in the 2-2 draw against Swansea. He was looking good to go for the game against Hull City, but the fitness tests proved otherwise. He was excluded from the team because he was deemed not fit enough to be playing that particular game.
(Editor’s Note: the following Chelsea FC injury report for the match versus Leicester City is by Caleb Thompson)
With Antonio Conte looking to go with a 3-5-3 formation, that means that Gary Cahill will likely be excluded, while it is also likely that Marcos Alonso will slot into the LM position, while Ivanovic will move in to be a CB alongside Terry and David Luiz.
John Terry will give Chelsea the fuel they need to grab the three points. He will control the defense and make sure that zero to no mistakes are made. He will give Chelsea the upper edge that they have been lacking in the past weeks in defense, and ultimately move Chelsea higher up the table.
