Time to talk some transfer rumors, as the January window will be here before you know it. In this article we focus on Chelsea FC, and as always, remember to take these with a grain of salt. We start where else but with Eden Hazard, who once again gave public voice of his (with apologies to The Clash) “should I stay or should I go now?” inner monologue.
“At the end of this year I have one year left on my Chelsea contract,” the Belgian said in an interview with RMC Sport.
“We will see, it’ll be up to me to make the decision.” Hazard also threw in some Real Madrid admiration, saying that he: “always liked Real Madrid as a club, with or without (Zinedine) Zidane.”
Moving on to Alvaro Morata, he is reportedly a target of Serie A side AC Milan, who are in the market for a new forward. Milan are also reportedly keen on Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford and Liverpool’s Divock Origi. However, Milan isn’t probably the best destination for him, and The Pride of London, FanSided’s Chelsea community have a good explanation as to why.
Finally, we turn to where else but AC Milan, which has become the go to choice in transfer rumors for Chelsea fringe players.
That’s probably due to Tiemoue Bakayoko and his loan move to the San Siro, but that doesn’t make a whole lot of sense given how that experience has gone for the midfielder.
However, this a bit more than just a rumor as AC Milan sporting director Leonardo himself has confirmed an approach about the possibility of signing Cesc Fabregas.
The 31-year-old Spaniard is buried on the depth chart and out of contract next summer.
