Arsenal completed the Lucas Perez signing yesterday, and that was followed up by the closure of the Shokdran Mustafi deal. More Gunners transfer business will be concluded before the summer transfer window shuts as Arsene Wenger has decided to loan out midfielder Jack Wilshere.
Jack Wilshere arrived at Bournemouth on Wednesday evening ahead of a season-long loan after rejecting Roma, AC Milan, and Crystal Palace, according to Sky sources.
The 24-year-old appeared to have a straight choice on Tuesday between Crystal Palace and Bournemouth with his representatives meeting Palace boss Alan Pardew and Cherries manager Eddie Howe.
The midfielder has certainly had issues finding first team football at the Emirates. He was given votes of confidence despite the smoking rows, but the England star has also suffered more than his fair share of injuries. He lost his starting place last season after he suffered a broken ankle, more specifically a fractured left fibula, and made just three appearances for the club.
The 24-year-old has made just two substitute appearances this season, and was also left out of the England squad for the World Cup qualifiers this week. You’ll recall that when he first came up he was really deemed the next big thing in English football. I mean he was supposed to be a legend.
Unfortunately he just could never stay healthy.
A loan move, reportedly he preferred a foreign club over a domestic rival but so much for that now, could be exactly what he needs to get regular first team football and thus back in the groove to speak.
