We all make errors, not just in our text but sometimes in our headlines. You can consider this a headline level failure by Tottenham Hotspur. It is the person’s actual name, printed on the Spurs kit. Behold “The Great One” Wayne Gretzky, or as they deemed him at White Hart Lane, Wayne Gretsky

It’s too bad jerseys don’t have spellcheck built in. Tottenham apologized to #99 and said that a new kit, with the correct spelling was on the way to the greatest hockey player of all time.
Wayne Gretzky was understandable, and essentially cool with it. Hey, no harm, no foul. Although it’s worth mentioning that Spurs Official’s original Tweet with the picture has since been deleted.
Not to worry @SpursOfficial It happens all the time!
