It is still not officially known when Manchester United will get back the services of Paul Pogba, but the Daily Express, Metro and the Daily Star are all claiming it could be inside eight weeks.
The new timeline gives a best case scenario of December, which is of course much later than had been originally thought. Manager Jose Mourinho said in midweek after the Benfica win that he simply does not know when Pogba will come back, and in general everyone involved has been extremely tight-lipped about the entire situation.
He has not played since suffering a hamstring injury Sept 12 in the UEFA Champions League victory over Benfica. It had been previously hoped that he could be back to take on Chelsea November 5, but now United will be lucky to have him December 10 against Manchester City.
United have four games in the 11 days before Christmas, and they then face another four league games between Boxing Day and the end of the festive period.
