Manchester United Manager Jose Mourinho will miss his side’s Sunday Premier league fixture against Swansea City, as he’ll serve the touchline ban leveled against him by the Football Association. Given his recent comments about his club not being mentally prepared or focused in their last outing, I’m not sure he’s going to be all that missed!
What I do know is that if United doesn’t win this one, they’re going to be in a huge hole. Unless United win, they will reside at their lowest point total after 11 games played in club history.
Yes, a draw or a loss means that the Mourinho regime is officially disastrous, up to this point.
As bad as things are at United, the other side is in serious peril too.
New Swansea Manager Bob Bradley hasn’t won a game since taking over as Swans boss. They are in the relegation zone, and need to get at least five points to rise above the drop section. Obviously, the problems started well before Bradley got there, as the Welsh side has not won a game since opening day.
Here’s the link to our Man United starting XI prediction by the way.
World record signing Paul Pogba is a doubt due to an injury he picked up this week; apparently it’s in his thigh area.
Antonio Valencia (arm) and Eric Bailly (knee) are out, while fellow defender Chris Smalling (foot) is a doubt. Ander Herrera will miss this one due to a suspension.
Match Odds: United 8/11, Draw 14/5, Swansea 14/5 via Sky Bet
Match Prediction: Man United 1, Swansea 1
