As we said heading into this one, it’s battle of two desperate sides badly in need of a win. We thought it could be ugly, with Manchester United looking off, but Swansea City looking atrocious. The pressure was on Jose Mourinho, you cannot draw or lost to what is possibly the worst side in the league.
Anything but a win and United would find themselves heading into another long, dull international break with the worst total points accumulated after 11 games.
Mourinho’s side got it done. It really wasn’t pretty, but it was still a thrashing as United went up 3-0 by halftime, and never looked back, defeating the Swans 3-1. United are now in sixth place, with 18 points, tied with Everton, but ahead on goal differential.
Swansea are 19th out of 20, tied with Sunderland for 5 points. They are firmly entrenched in the drop zone.

Here are some videos of the Paul Pogba goal, and some Zlatan facts after he put up a double today, announcing to the footy world that reports of his demise have been greatly exaggerated. Sure it was Swansea, but bagging two goals is exactly what he, and United fans needed.

On a side note, this was actually quite funny. Steven Gerrard, Liverpool icon of all LFC club icons, took a photo with a United supporter, and he flicked him off in it.
