Arsene Wenger Walks Out of Postgame Interview at Tottenham Hotspur

Arsenal Manager Arsene Wenger cut his interview short following his side’s 2-0 defeat at White Hart Lane to Tottenham Hotspur.

Wenger was at least noble enough to admit that Tottenham overall deserved the victory, but clearly he was very upset about having to realize the simple fact that Spurs will finish ahead of the Gunners for the first time since 1995.

The Frenchman certainly didn’t like having to answer a question about it. In his 22 years on the job, no one can ever recall Arsene Wenger doing this- actually walking out of an interview. It’s so unlike him.

The loss today means Arsene’s side is likely not going to finish in the top four and thus end Wenger’s job is very much in jeopardy. After a very long and extremely glorious career at the Emirates, this year has been a massive disappointment and the loss to Spurs brought a new low point. It seems like he’s feeling the pressure.

There’s a very large percentage of the Gunners fan base that want him out and it shows that Arsene Wenger is truly feeling the heat.
