Angel Di Maria continues his beautiful and inspired play at Old Trafford with his third goal in Premier League play. He must achieve a lot to earn his £60 million transfer fee, but thus far Manchester United are seeing a nice return on their investment. He’s probably the best all around player on United right now, and this scoring strike put the Red Devils up 1-nil at home versus Everton.
Take a look:
Everton would later equalize. But in the 62nd minute, Radamel Falcao got his first goal in a Man United uniform on a wayward shot by Angel Di Maria. So it was both of the new acquisitions connecting on a play to provide the difference in a 2-1 victory. Angel Di Maria, who the reigning United player of the month, was also awarded Man of the Match. However, the honor could have easily gone to goalkeeper David de Gea.
All in all, big opportunity to pick up three points, and United did just that.
