UPDATE: Jose Mourinho is reportedly so keen on becoming boss at Old Trafford that he’s willing to take a £16 million paycut in order to get the gig.
If the Star are to be believed, then Mourinho is in it for the love of the game, and it’s not about the money.

Mourinho is waiting in the wings following his sacking by Chelsea last week and is prepared to accept a four-year deal worth around £6m-a-season to succeed Van Gaal.
He was the highest paid boss in the Premier League at Stamford Bridge, where he earned a staggering £10m-a-year.
This would certainly put another piece of the coaching carousel puzzle into place. Bookmakers see the just sacked former Chelsea man Jose Mourinho as the favorite to be the next Manchester United Manager if/when they sack current incumbent Louis van Gaal.
It’s certainly no secret that Mourinho really wants a move to Old Trafford. Monday’s back pages were all about the “Louis van Gaal has just one game left to save his job” narrative. Yesterday we learned that negotiations between the two camps (Mourinho and Man United) have already begun.
