The David Moyes derby will soon be upon us. Yes, this is one of those matches that you just circle on the calendar when the schedule comes out. And it’s only nine days away. Wednesday, December 4, just a week from tomorrow features a slate of Premier League that is highlighted by Manchester United manager David Moyes facing his former club Everton for the first time since taking over the Red Devils.

It will be broadcast at 1:45 p.m. CST on NBCSN. Another storyline, aside from the David Moyes finding a major promotion in life from Everton to Manchester United, as he followed in the footsteps of the legendary Sir Alex Ferguson is Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard. The American born U.S. Men’s National Team goalkeeper Tim Howard joins lead play-by-play voice Arlo White on the call of the Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester United match on Sunday at 6 a.m. CST on NBCSN.

Tim Howard returns to the booth one day after suiting up for Everton in their Saturday match against Stoke City. Other storylines in addition to Tim Howard and David Moyes include the coveting of Leighton Baines by Moyes. However, his former club is refusing to sell.

By the time the winter January transfer window gets here things should change. Moyes is confident that he can use his connections with his former employer to get a deal done. The conventional wisdom is that Leighton Baines would be Patrice Evra’s long-term successor. So pick a storyline in this match.
