Manchester United are interested in Lazio midfielder Antonio Candreva. The 27-year-old’s contract expires in the summer of 2015, and he’ll have the opportunity to move to England if he so wishes. In addition to United, Liverpool and Arsenal are said to both be interested.
The Sunday Express states that Antonio Candreva, who is rated around £7 million, has caught the eye of three traditional Premier League powers.
The Sunday Telegraph today claim that Manager David Moyes will be handed a £200 million warchest to overhaul the side this summer. Provided there aren’t any more disasters that could lead to his sacking. The Telegraph’s Jason Burt and Mark Ogden say that United are ready to prioritize the top targets from that £200 million on Bayern Munich‘s Toni Kroos and Southampton‘s Luke Shaw.
Those are the top two most important targets in the summer transfer window. Other priorities will be Carlos Mane, Ilkay Gundogan. And of course Antonio Candreva, but not until later.
The Telegraph also reports that United are unwilling to pay William Carvalho‘s £37 million release clause.
