Atletico Madrid superstar Antoine Griezmann should make the blockbuster move to Manchester United this summer.
That is the stance of the forward’s former image consultant Sebastien Bellencontre. It’s certainly no secret that Griezmann is the #1 transfer target of the Red Devils this summer, and it’s also widely known that Paul Pogba, his friend and France teammates, is very much key to the deal.
It’s looking possible that Griezmann to Man United will be the summer transfer story of 2017, like #Pogback was in 2016.
Via So Foot, Bellencontre (whose consulting contract with the footballer expired at the end of last year) says Griezmann to Old Trafford would be a smart move, and it would be a transaction similar to when David Beckham made the switch to the Theatre of Dreams.
“When I read articles about a hypothetical transfer to Manchester United, I have to say that it would be the ideal scenario in terms of marketing,” said Bellencontre.
“He would be playing in the same club as Beckham, his idol, with the iconic No. 7 on his back. Still speaking in terms outside of sport, PSG would be interesting in French terms, but we’ve already moved to the international stage.”
