Just nine more days until the Premier League season kicks off! We’ll soon find out if Louis van Gaal is truly leading a revolution at Old Trafford. This is a critical season for Manchester United. After finishing 7th in the league during the 2013-14 campaign, this year will either see the club settle into mid-table or low Europa League slots, instead of the title winning, Champions League berth earning status the team has previously enjoyed.
It’s just preseason, and you don’t want to read too much into it, but United really needed the success that they enjoyed on their summer tour of the United States. And here, joining me to talk about what this preseason means for the 2014-15 season, is free lance journalist Debbie Emery. Formerly with the Hollywood Reporter, the native of Knutsford, England is a life long Manchester United supporter who currently lives in Los Angeles. You can follow her on twitter @debemery
