Manchester United have now announced, via their official Twitter account, the acquisition of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku. Lukaku was already in Los Angeles on vacation while the deal was being hammered out and he will undergo his club medical evaluation in L.A.
The rest of the team is scheduled to arrive in southern California tomorrow, ahead of their preseason exhibition tour in the United States. The University of California-Los Angeles will serve as the MUFC training site for the United States preseason tour.
Lukaku is already working out there alongside close friend and new teammate Paul Pogba. With the new Belgian scoring sensation officially on board, how does he fit into the United starting XI? Here’s two potential line-ups that Manager Jose Mourinho could utilize that incorporate his newest acquisition.

That was the classic 4-2-3-1 formation, what about switching it up a bit? Also, three players who may crack the starting XI who were left out of both lineup predictions are winger Jesse Lingard, midfielder Juan Mata and left back Luke Shaw. Both could figure in the first team discussion. Then you have the question of trying to play Rashford and Martial at the same time, if Mourinho would want to do that.
