You can tell that Chelsea Manager Jose Mourinho is really feeling the heat now, as he let himself get drawn into an antagonistic back-and-forth with a reporter yesterday. Yes, it absolutely was an antagonistic line of questioning, but the journalist is just doing his job. Watch the embedded YouTube below as Mourinho rejects the idea of being affected by ‘third season syndrome.’
He told the reporter to “Google answers to stupid questions.”
Mourinho called the question “stupid” several times there. Which only verifies the fact that this reporter’s questions really got to him. The pressure must really be getting to Mourinho right now. It’s still quite early in the Premier League season, but Chelsea are currently in 17th place, just one spot above the drop zone.
They’re off to a very bad start to say the least and their title defense is in serious peril right now.
It’s understandable that Mourinho would get so agitated and defensive in response to such a provocative question.
