Chelsea FC Starting XI Prediction at Norwich City

August 22, 2019 By paulmbanks

Is there a man in football in bigger need of a win right now than Chelsea FC manager Frank Lampard? Is there any individual footballer in need of a massive individual performance than Christian Pulisic- the only major signing Chelsea was able to make in 2019?

Life after Eden Hazard has proven to be as hard and the most pessimistic Blues fans have imagined. There is certainly some degree of panic in the Chelsea supporter base right now, both over Lampard/the general direction of the club and whether Pulisic will reach his potential or not with the Blues. The good news for Chelsea is they are heavily favored in their next match, a league road clash at Norwich City.

For the Chelsea team news and fitness report go here.

Lampard could make a couple switches here with his lineup, taking the struggling Olivier Giroud out, and inserting the embattled and victimized Tammy Abraham instead. Also, Mason Mount, Vanilla Ice style haircut and all, could come in for Mateo Kovacic.

Mason Mount     Jorginho      N’Golo Kante

Cesar Azpilicueta     Kurt Zouma     Andreas Christensen    Marcos Alonso

Kepa Arrizabalaga
