Is Frank Lampard Taking Chelsea FC back to Pre-Roman Abrahimovic Era?

After three major matches with English tactician Frank Lampard in charge at Stamford Bridge, the Blues are still in search of their first victory of the new campaign.

They have only managed to secure 1 point, from 6 available points, and that has left the team in 15th position on the Premier League log. What’s more terrifying though is how Chelsea have dominated matches for certain periods, but heavily struggled to turn that possession into goals and three points.

Sunday against 2015-16 Premier League champions Leicester City, at the Bridge, was an example worth considering. Loudly supported by Chelsea fans, the Blues started the game like a house on fire, with a number of interesting moves.

With the West London club playing the pressing game, the Foxes didn’t really know what Chelsea had in stock for them, and on a good day, the team could have scored 3 goals inside the early minutes of the match.

But after the break, the story was different; the visitors had weathered that Chelsea storm and, all of a sudden, looked like the team that could win the match.

The backline of Chelsea looked flat and the midfield led by N’Golo Kante was absolutely swept aside by a powerful and physical Leicester City team.

But the most disturbing part of that second forty-five minute was the fact that the Blues failed to, hit a shot on target at Stamford Bridge, a terrible statistic.

A lot of people could point out that majority of the players in the Chelsea team had played over 120 minutes on Wednesday night in the Super Cup Final, but despite that, those second half showed that Frank Lampard has a lot of work to do to this team when they return to the Cobham training ground.

Without doubt Chelsea legend Frank Lampard deserves to be handed every chance to weather the storm at Stamford Bridge this term. With a transfer ban for two windows, any manager at the Bridge has a lot of work to do with less at his disposal.

Chelsea faithful are hoping the eventual return from the injury of Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Antonio Rudiger, Reece James, Callum Hudson-Odoi and Michy Batsuayi will give the boss Frank Lampard some more options.

With the look of situations right now, things could get even worse before they improve. However, some diehard fans of the club believe otherwise as punters continue to bank on the Blues to bounce back in no time.

Even if the Blues are not performing as expected, punters can still enjoy numerous PayPal bonuses and free offers at Uk Paypal Casino. Bonuses like Welcome bonus with spins, Cash prizes, Prize draws, Slot tournaments, Reload matches and VIP bonus tiers.
