Arsenal FC heads to Liverpool tomorrow in a blockbuster match that features the only two sides that are perfect on the young Premier League season. By the final whistle there will be only one; or zero if they end up in stalemate.
Anyway, here is everything you need to know heading into this massive fixture, and we start with the press conference today from Arsenal manager Unai Emery, embedded via YouTube:
Emery was very coy in regards to the fitness situation of the players who are doubtful to probable for this one. The Spaniard says he still won’t know until tomorrow, and last minute fitness tests will be needed.
Thus, we won’t know the status of Mesut Ozil and/or Granit Xhaka until we see the team sheet released in the prematch build-up. You can definitely expect to see Dani Ceballos in a starting role, given the stellar start he’s had to his Gunners career since moving over from Real Madrid this summer.
Once again, Arsenal will be short-handed in the back line due to injury, so Emery will do the best he can there.
