Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal thinks Robin van Persie’s first half opener was offside as his team beat Leicester 3-1 at home. So I guess you could say that they exacted some measure of redemption for the disaster at Leicester earlier this season.
That 5-3 away defeat was the biggest second half blow lead in United history, and Van Gaal called it his worst moment as Red Devils boss.
However, today saw the thrill of victory, and the three points moved United up the table to third.

There are some who believe that United hasn’t really made much progress under Louis van Gaal. Well, they looked really good today, albeit versus very weak competition.
