DALEY-BLIND

It’s quite alarming how the injuries have piled up for Manchester United.  Here are the latest updates on Daley Blind.

Louis van Gaal said at today’s press conference that Daley Blind’s injury is not as serious as first thought and he will NOT be out for six months.

Van Gaal on Blind: “He has a brace on his knee. After 10 days’ rest, he’ll have another scan that will say more about the injury.”

More on @BlindDaley: “It’s not as bad as the doctors thought after the match. It shall be a long story – but not six months or something.”

Daley Blind tore his medial knee ligament while on international duty with Holland and faces an estimated four to six weeks on the sideline.

The midfielder had to be taken off against Latvia and Guus Hiddink confirmed the bad news about his injury after the game.

Daley Blind was one of the big summer buys this past transfer window and he’s been solid playing in the midst of Louis van Gaal’s diamond formation.
