Manchester United did absolutely nothing at all in the second half of their UEFA Champions League tie with PSV Eindhoven tonight. The final result was 0-0, yet another goalless draw in a season that’s been filled with them. We’ve seen lots of dull tedium from United this season, and this was about as dull and tedious as it gets.
Hence all the strong boos that reigned down from the Old Trafford crowd. Deservedly so, as United would have been into the knockout round of Champions League with a victory, but instead could only muster up a draw.
