Jose Mourinho is known for both his masterful tactics on the sidelines and the mind games he plays on his opponents before and after the match. What about his actual skills on the pitch, though?
Well, today, he took part in the Game4Grenfell charity match at Loftus Road, a friendly benefiting those affected by the 2017 Grenfell Tower fire. Mourinho was a midfielder in his playing days, but suited up as the backup goalkeeper for Team Shearer.

Pretty impressive for a 54-year-old who hasn’t played competitively and professionally since 1987, right?

Good stuff!
Jose Mourinho will return to the sidelines, and non-friendly action one week from today when United take on Stoke City. They will then open their UEFA Champions League Group stage play versus FC Basel three days later.
