Tottenham vs Everton Injury Report: Vertonghen, Kane, Winks, Rose, Coleman

Tottenham Hotspur hosts Everton in a Championship Sunday match-up of two sides looking ahead, and for very different reasons. For the home side, the date circled is June when they’ll battle Liverpool in Madrid for the UEFA Champions League title.

It’s a match-up where trophy droughts are guaranteed to end. For the away side, it’s time to think about the summer transfer window, and with that how to not be so wasteful in player acquisition spending. That all said, let’s take a look at the fitness and availability situation for both clubs.

For Spurs, defenders Serge Aurier and Danny Rose are both doubts, due to hamstring problems. Midfielder Victory Wanyama is also a doubt due to a thigh problem. Harry Kane, Davinson Sanchez, Harry Winks and Jan Vertonghen are all ruled out with return dates unknown for all except the first man listed, the face of the franchise.

It is hoped he could return for the European final. Juan Foyth and Heung-Min Son are also absent, but due to suspension.

As for the Toffees, Seamus Coleman is a doubt due to a groin injury.

Meanwhile Richarlison (rib) and Dominic Calvert-Lewin (knock) are out of commission for this one.

The Toffees have been extremely unpredictable this season, and as for their road form, well, typically one is best suited to just pick the hosts in those situations.
