Having lost two of their last three and sitting seventh place in the table, Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino knows it’s circle the wagons time. Spurs crashed out of the EFL Cup in midweek and their Champions League campaign got off to a suboptimal start.
With that in mind, the bookies have Pochettino as the favorite in their next Premier League manager to get sacked category. Poch says the situation is not as bad as it may seem though.
“Damage has happened that we need to fix,” the Argentine said.
“We are, at the moment, fixing problems to try to be better and get the results we expect. To win the games. We are not so far away. Our performances are not as bad as the feeling creates. I am sure that we are going to start to win games. We need to find the solution.”
And he’s confident that he’s the person to right the ship.
“Yes, I believe I am. If I didn’t think I was, you would have found out quickly.”
