Harry Kane just broke a Tottenham Hotspur single season goal scoring record. For just the Premier League era, no one has scored 22 goals or more for Spurs in domestic season. Kane’s 22nd, just now, drew Spurs level 1-1 with Liverpool at Anfield.
Philipe Coutinho scored the Reds’ goal that preceded Kane’s equalizer.

You would have to go all the way back to 1991-92, with Gary Lineker, to find someone who has scored as many times as Kane has for a domestic season in a Spurs shirt.
Kane had 21 goals last season, and he’s got 22 already with still seven weeks left to play. It’s quite safe to say that he’s certainly no one-year-wonder. Here’s the link to the piece that we did earlier this week on Kane and his continuing break out for both club and country. By the way, the end result today at The Kop was a 1-1 draw.
