Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has plenty of injuries to key players to deal with right now, but he doesn’t sound phased by it. Ahead of tomorrow’s La Liga fixture at Cadiz, he spoke about not being worried by the current injury crisis.

After all, he still has lots of other talented pieces in his squad, to place all around, in every position group on the field.

“These injuries have affected us a bit, but this squad is well constructed,” Ancelotti said during a press conference earlier today.

We’ve been competitive without Militao, Courtois, Vinicius and Bellingham.

“We have all the confidence in the world. We see this as an opportunity to show how good we are, and how good the other players in this squad are.”

The international break that just passed saw Madrid lose Vinicius Jr. (re-aggravation of a hamstring injury) and Eduardo Camavinga (knee ligament tear) to injury, with both set to be sidelined until the new year.

They’re also on their third choice at goalkeeper now, with Thibaut Courtois being lost for the season for the season due to an ACL tear back in August while his replacement, Kepa Arrizabalaga, missing time in the short-term due to a hamstring problem.

Elsewhere Eder Militao won’t be returning to action this season either, as he suffered a fate similar to Courtois, around the same time.

Additionally, Jude Bellingham has missed a little bit of time, due to a dislocated shoulder while Frenchman Aurélien Tchouaméni will be sidelined for awhile with a broken metatarsal.

Not to mention teenage wonderkid Arda Güler still hasn’t made his Madrid debut after suffering a re-occurrence from a hamstring issue.

Yet, in spite of it all, Ancelotti still has Los Blancos right up at the table, currently competing for a league title.
