The Manchester United Pandora’s box is open now. The Red Devils Twitterverse, blogosphere, cyberspace and media world is buzzing about how the players are reportedly growing more frustrated and discontent with Manager Louis van Gaal.

Players are having issues with how LVG treats them, and how he finds himself blameless when things go awry. He reportedly doesn’t ever find fault in his tactics and philosophy, but in the roster of players instead.

Also, in another story line we’ve consistently seen this year,Jose Mourinho is reportedly confident that he’ll get the job this summer. Following up on The Times report, we now see this very well sourced piece from The Sun:

By the time they got back to the dressing room after Sunday’s 3-0 mauling at White Hart Lane, United’s furious players had turned on him.

Respect for Van Gaal, supposedly one of the great managerial minds, has gone. These players are openly questioning him, wondering out loud how the club can seriously keep him beyond the end of the season.

In particular, his treatment of Marcus Rashford, whose five goals have got Van Gaal out of jail in recent weeks, surprised them.

Even without the reports of what’s going on in the dressing room, you can see how unsettled Van Gaal is in public right now. The Iron Tulip gave a very surly, defensive and condescending answer to a reporter on Sunday, calling him “pathetic.”

It wasn’t the first time he’s treated the media this way. Earlier in the season, Van Gaal also called a reporter a “fat man.”

We’ve seen him condescend over and over and over again to the media while in public. What makes you think he wouldn’t be this way with his own players behind the scenes?
