Today saw what was probably the most captivating, interesting and dramatic Louis van Gaal press conference ever. It was certainly the best he’s ever had at Manchester United. His usual weekly news conference at the Carrington training ground was held on Wednesday instead of Friday this week due to the Christmas holiday.
This is the first time that he took questions from the media since the rumors of Jose Mourinho replacing him first emerged.
Van Gaal admitted that he had no interest in dealing with the media at all right now. He said he was only there because of Premier League rules. It was more of a rant than it was a Q&A. After just two questions and five minutes, Van Gaal stormed out in anger.
Although he did bestow warm holiday greetings upon the reporters. Here is the entire media session embedded from YouTube below.
United will visit Stoke City on Boxing Day, and then hosting Chelsea on Dec. 28. The club has already decided to beef up security surrounding Van Gaal for the next home match versus the Blues.
