UEFA have released their 2017-18 squad of season team, and three players from Liverpool FC have made the cut. It’s the same exact trio that the Reds featured in their kit launch promos about six weeks ago- Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk and Roberto Firmino.
The Reds registered the second most members of the squad, behind only Real Madrid, who had a whopping eight! Neither is a surprise, given the matchup for the final, and the result of that final/. Only one other Premier League player was able to crack the 21 man list, Manchester City’s Kevin de Bruyne.
Here is the team, as chosen by UEFA Technical Directors:

Who do you think was snubbed? Should Sadio Mane have made the cut? After all, he was the only member of LFC’s scoring record setting troika not to make the cut. Do you feel the Madrid representation was excessive?
