Liverpool FC got the 2019-20 season off to a rip roaring start, thrashing newly promoted Norwich City 4-1 at Anfield this past Friday. Up next is a visit to Vodafone Arena in Istanbul, where they will take on Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup.
Then comes a visit to their de facto farm club, Southampton, on Saturday. So let’s take a look at some of the news and notes items currently making the rounds in the LFC web community, starting with yet another example of what a great human being Mohamed Salah is.

Young Liverpool fan Louis Fowler saw Mo Salah leaving training and get into his Bentley. Fowler was so focused on seeing/grabbing the attention of Salah that he accidentally ran into a lamp-post and bloodied up his nose.
When he arrived home (he was okay), the superstar and humanitarian arrived to make sure the youngster was alright and he even posed for pictures with him! Watch the video over at this link.
Elsewhere, the transfer deadline has passed for English clubs to buy players, but they can still sell players abroad.
Reportedly, Liverpool are looking to send Dejan Lovren to AS Roma, the same club with which they purchased Alisson last summer and Salah the previous summer.
