Juan Mata Has Fun with Tweet United Forced Romelu Lukaku to Delete

According to multiple reports, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was not too happy with a tweet his striker Romelu Lukaku posted, and has since deleted. The tweet, which Lukaku was instructed by the club to delete, featured a video that showed the players’ recorded times in a speed test.

Feeling slighted by those who have referred to him as slow, Big Rom called attention to the fact that he finished second on the team in the speed drill behind only Diogo Dalot. Solskjaer wasn’t happy that the Belgian, who has yet to feature for the club this preseason, amidst negotiations for his transfer to Inter Milan, revealed data that was private to the club.

Lukaku deleting a tweet leaking the team's speed stats to prove he ain't slow is funny as heck pic.twitter.com/4cbxVGe1Uh

That’s very understandable. (You can see the Tweet above). The two slowest members of the squad were Juan Mata and Luke Shaw, with the former having some fun with this controversy, even if it came at the expense of the latter.

See below; followed by Lukaku’s response to Mata’s joke about the situation.

Thanks for finally showing the world that I'm quicker than @LukeShaw23 bro. ????? https://t.co/vfQ1wq0W5N

It still remains to be seen whether or not Lukaku will get his move to Inter, as the Serie A side’s bid for him was rejected, with Old Trafford still holding out for more money.
