The big, and truly only, serious question mark about the Chelsea FC line-up this Sunday versus Manchester United is N’Golo Kante, and today brought news that’s not exactly encouraging to Blues supporters. Thursday brought the news of Kante being left out of the France squad for the upcoming international break.
Kante has been out of action since he suffered a hamstring injury while on international duty in France’s 1-0 victory over Bulgaria back on October 7.
The reigning PFA Player of the Year has missed the last six games for Chelsea, and Blues boss Antonio Conte insists with that his French midfield maestro will only play if he is truly 100 percent match fit. His absence from the France national team roster certainly invites speculation on that; only N’Golo Kante knows for sure, and perhaps Conte will provide an update tomorrow at his weekly news conference.
Over the period that Kante has been missing, Chelsea have suffered two losses, earned one draw and achieved three wins.
