The team news situation is looking a bit better for Arsenal this weekend, as both Emile Smith Rowe and Gabriel Martinelli are expected to be passed as match fit.

That should provide manager Mikel Arteta a nice boost in the attack, given how he’ll now have more options in the final third when his side hosts Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday.

And with that the injured list is now done to Thomas Partey, Jurrien Timber, Fabio Vieira and Takehiro Tomiyasu; all of which will remain sidelined for the long-term.

Shifting gears to the Seagulls, FC Barcelona loanee Ansu Fati is ruled out of this one. The same goes for Julio Enciso, Pervis Estupinan, Tariq Lamptey, and Adam Webster.

However, the news is better when it comes to striker Danny Welbeck (facing one of his former teams here) and Solly March, as both  could be in contention to play.
